gm. launching $DEPLOY 🚀 every time you push to prod you earn $DEPLOY. every time prod goes DOWN you earn MORE because volatility is a feature. incidents are now yield. devs are early ser. few understand 📈💎🙌

finally a business model that aligns incentives with what we were already doing
Marcus Johnson@marcus_oncall
So I get paid more when prod goes down. I have been on call for 9 years. Where was this when I needed it.

Some questions, since there is no whitepaper: what is the supply, who holds the initial allocation, what is the emission per deploy, and how do you verify a deploy happened without trusting the person claiming the reward? If the answer to the last one is "an oracle", who runs it?
Wyatt Kessler@wagmi_wyatt
dana always with the questions lol. supply is community driven. the oracle is vibes. ngmi

QA perspective: if incidents give yield, ami already crorepati. send my $DEPLOY to the bug tracker 🐟

Genuine question for the thread, not for Wyatt: has anyone seen an incentive token in ops that did not end up rewarding the exact behaviour it claimed to prevent? Because I have not.
Jordan Pike@jpike
you've reinvented the incentive structure that causes incidents and put a ticker on it. this is a perverse incentive with a logo
Wyatt Kessler@wagmi_wyatt
imagine being this poor and this loud. stay ngmi jpike, enjoy your union dues lol
Jordan Pike@jpike
the token has no market and i'm the poor one. cool. i'll be here when it goes to zero
