Paano lumabas sa tutorial hell (from someone who lived there for 2 years)

1. Yung 20-minute rule

// halimbawa: yung "twist" ko sa todo app, save sa localStorage
const saved = JSON.parse(localStorage.getItem('todos') ?? '[]');
const todos = [...saved];

function addTodo(text) {
  todos.push({ text, done: false, createdAt: Date.now() });
  save();
}

function save() {
  localStorage.setItem('todos', JSON.stringify(todos));
}

Mali. Basahin mo yung error message. Buong error message, pati yung line number. 70% ng sagot nandun na. Yung natitirang 30%, MDN at Stack Overflow.

Number 4 is real. Java dev for 12 years and I still see juniors open a new YouTube video when the stack trace literally says NullPointerException at line 42. Good list Migs.

Same in Indonesia, everybody stuck in tutorial hell. The twist rule is very good, I will share to my juniors. Terima kasih kuya

Number 3 is how I got my first paid gig. Built a booking page for my uncle's barbing salon, his friend saw it and paid me 15k naira for one. Build for people around you, e no dey fail.
