spring on the farm

Calving's nearly done, 382 of 400 on the ground. Haven't sat down properly since July. The only thing on this farm that's slept 8 hours a night is the milk vat ESP32, and it's in deep sleep, so it doesn't count. Not my photo, our hills have more mud and a broken gate. Sweet as though.

382 of 400! good on ya mate. get some sleep before the next sensor "project" 😅 the vat ESP32 sleeping more than you is the most farmer thing I've read

The mud and the broken gate are what make it a real farm. Get some rest, Hamish. Cheers, G.

Dear Hamish, Congratulations on the calves. On my uncle's farm near Thanjavur, the cows also had better sleep than anyone in the house. Some things are universal. With regards

Congratulation on the calves. The new vat sensor board shipped yesterday, tracking number in message.
